Some places don't ask for your attention. They simply invite you to be still.
Far From the Noise was inspired by a tiny island I came across while kayaking through one of the countless lakes scattered around Lake Superior. Surrounded by rugged shoreline and endless wilderness, it was one of those rare places where the silence felt almost tangible. There were no roads, no crowds, and no distractions. Just wind in the pines, water against the rocks, and the quiet beauty of Northern Ontario.
This painting is a reminder that some of life's richest moments are found away from the noise. In the stillness of creation, we are given space to rest, reflect, and be reminded of the One who made it all.
